Ultra Fine Merino Wool

It starts with the Fiber. The body structure of our socks are created with merino wool. This is the backbone of the sock- it provides the reasons to wear socks in the first place! Naturally moisture wicking wool keeps your feet and shoes dry. Thermal regulation keeps your feet dry on warm days and warm on cold ones. Antimicrobial properties help combat toe fungus, athletes foot, and more. Plus all this together keeps your climbing shoes and feet smelling fresh.

Form Fitting Construction

But it can't just be any wool sock. It has to be ultra thin to fit in tight climbing shoes, but also durable enough to hold up to the rigors of climbing. We achieve this through a specialized 200 needle knitting construction. The use of 200 needles allows a construction that is highly dense, forming to your foot and maintaining structure overtime. This knit structure can only be achieved with ultra fine yarn.

Friction Grip

But climbing is active! we need more than wool benefits and the functionality of it fitting in our shoes. We need performance based results. That's why we utilize the friction grip properties of our proprietary fiber blend. It creates a textile-based friction system that increases interfacial stability between the foot, sock, and shoe through fiber-level interaction rather than applied surface treatments.
